Upon entering Ramblewood Village, one traverses through a wonderful old fashioned covered bridge into the quaint setting of beautiful homes on spacious lots with grand, old, oak trees creating a wooded wonderland. No wonder the residents of our small and lovely community value the quality of life here with all it’s amenities and take pride in their address. Ramblewood Village enjoys all the benefits of it’s location in Zephyrhills including the nationally acclaimed crystal pure water and the cool summer breezes of “Zephyrs” as they are called. Historians tell us that the village was named for these “winds” blowing through the “hills” hence the name, “Zephyrhills”. Zephyrhills is a city with approximately 10,000 residents. The communities population includes retirees who ultimately bring the community to more than 90,000 annually during the winter months. Those seeking retirement living on a modest income find Zephyrhills a friendly, unhurried, congenial atmosphere.
Zephyrhills is known as the “Friendly City of Pure Water”. The water is drawn from seven wells and bottled and sold around the world.
Skydive City is Zephyrhills major attraction. Since 1960 they have been hosting world-class events and is open for year-round entertaining and training. Several industries in the area include cattle ranching, poultry farms, and citrus groves.
At the Zephyrhills Depot Museum, you will learn about both the city’s and the American railroad history. The depot was originally built by the Atlantic Coast Line in 1927, and was restored by the city.
While in Zephyrhills visit Fort Foster. During the Second Seminole War the fort was used as a battle post and supply depot; see re-enactments of these battles.
