Pinellas Park Florida
Pinellas Park was founded in 1913 by F.A. Davis. It was to be an agricultural community that would attract farmers. Davis focused on bringing Pennsylvania physicians to the are by offering them ten acres of land with a town lot along Park Blve for twenty dollars. The town's capital investment came from hundreds of acres of sugarcane that could be refined in the local syrup mill.
Even though the sugarcane proved to be unsuccessful, after World War II the area flourished due to it's low land cost.
Visit The Tampa Bay Automobile Museum, featuring a unique collection of vintage cars and vehicles
that demonstrate special creativity and imagination in their history and engineering. They include pioneering front wheel drive and rear engine cars from the 1920s and 1930s, and each vehicle was chosen based on the engineering achievements that made it an important part of the evolution of the automobile. These are the cars that set the standards for the engineering of automobiles today. Visitors enjoy a provocative blend of art and science in over 12,000 square feet of gallery space.
