Voting in Florida

In order to register to vote in Florida, you must be at least 18 years of age, a citizen of the United States and a permanent resident of Florida. Florida voting registration also requires that you be a resident of your county for a minimum number of days.  To be eligible to register to vote in Florida, you cannot legally be a registered voter in another state and try to claim residence in Florida.  Also, as part of Florida voting registration law, you cannot vote if you have ever been convicted of a felony (and not had your civil rights restored). If you need more information on how to register to vote in Florida, please visit the Florida Division of Elections.
