Thanksgiving Centerpieces That Will Have Your Guests Talking!

Can’t decide what to bring the host of Thanksgiving this year?  Or, are you hosting Thanksgiving in your Jacobsen Home? Whether family, friends, neighbors or a combination are invited, we have our top DIY Thanksgiving Centerpieces that will get everyone in the holiday spirit!

Country Apple Candle Holders: This quick display is unique from the traditional table décor. To create, use a paring knife to cut a 1-inch-deep hole in the tops of a few apples. Remember to make the holes slightly narrower than the candlestick base. Pair these with stacked apples and a few eucalyptus branches on a cake stand of your choice!

Cranberry Candles: Add a soft glow to your home by finding a few glass candle jars within your home, or stop by your local craft store and add the candles of your choice to the jar. Fill the jar around the candle ½ way with fresh cranberries.

Pumpkin Centerpieces: Pick a medium sized pumpkin, and various fresh fall flowers from your local market. Clean the inside out of the pumpkin as you would if you were carving for Halloween. Trim the flowers at a 45 degree angle and arrange until you have a combination that you love. For extra pizzazz, add some faux fall leaves or decorative acorns to the table!

However you decorate your Jacobsen Home for the holidays, these pieces will be sure to be a great conversation starter and warm up any dining or kitchen area. If you are traveling to your Thanksgiving destination, the host will appreciate the thoughtful gesture.

We want to wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving from our family at Jacobsen homes and invite you to experience the Jacobsen difference firsthand by scheduling a tour at one of our many model centers and/or communities across Florida.
