Club Wildwood is a pet friendly, 55 plus manufactured home community located on Florida’s Nature Coast in Pasco County. Pasco County boasts having some of the most beautiful ecosystems in the southeastern United States. With over 123 miles of waterfront, both natural coastline and river frontage, along with thousands of acres of unspoiled wilderness. The county has an abundance of outdoor activities to enjoy. In the mid 50’s, a group of local businessmen put together a plan to make Hudson a desirable retirement community. They began developing communities and dredging canals for waterfront lots. Today, the canal system is “one of the most extensive cohesive inland waterway systems in the nation.” At Robert J Strickland Memorial Park, know as “Hudson Beach) you can fish from the shore, launch your boat, kayak, canoe, watch the beautiful sunsets. Visit the Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary where you can view over 800 beautiful birds. The Sanctuary is dedicated to the care and well-being of parrots and other exotic birds.
Just one mile from the Gulf of Mexico, Club Wildwood offers something for everyone. Outdoor activities include pickleball, catch-and release lake, shuffleboard, bocce ball and more. The clubhouse is the social gathering place where there are many activities to take part in, bingo, karaoke, potluck dinners, dancing an card games.
