Harbor Lights

Harbor Lights is a 55 plus waterfront community, located on the Boca Ciega Bay in St Petersburg, Florida.  St Petersburg has been marketed as “The Ideal City by the Sea”.  This city on a Peninsula boasts of its thirteen downtown blocks of public waterfront.  The St Petersburg area is surrounded by 28 miles of Bay and Gulf beaches.  In 1885 a Baltimore physician, Dr. W.C. VanBibber, announced to the American Medical Association that Pinellas was “the healthiest place on earth”.  Thus, St Petersburg was nicknamed “Health City USA”.  Arts and culture play an active role in St Petersburg.  The Salvador Dali Museum houses the most comprehensive collection of original Dali art in the world.  Other museums include the Great Explorations, a children’s hands-on museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the St Petersburg Historical Museum.

If you are a boater or angler, Harbor Lights is the place for you.  From your back yard you can hop on to your boat in Boca Ciega Bay which has direct access to the Gulf of Mexico.  Not a boater but love fishing, we have our own fishing pier where you can cast your line for your evening supper.  Take part in the many social events and activities that are centered in and around the clubhouse.  Try your hand at bocci ball, join in a shuffleboard tournament, practice your strokes on the putting green, or take a dip into the heated swimming pool.  At Harbor Lights you can stay as active or relaxed as you like.
