Lake Village is located in Nokomis, a small waterfront community between Sarasota and Venice on Florida’s west coast. Nokomis Beach is Sarasota County’s oldest public beach. At North Jetty Park you can launch your canoe or kayak, fish, Swim, or play horseshoes. Be sure to visit Oscar Scherer State Park. Bikers will enjoy the 10 miles of biking trails, if you are a bird watcher, over 200 species of birds live or frequent the park. Lake Osprey is a three-acre freshwater lake located within the park, where anglers can try their hand at catching largemouth bass, bluegill, bream and catfish. Visit the Nokomos Sunset Hut, a waterfront bar and restaurant where you will see some of the best sunsets in Florida.
Within Lake Village you can enjoy a active social life. Most of the activities are located in and around the spacious clubhouse. Take a dip in the swimming pool, or relax in the hot tub.
