Neptune Village is located in Ruskin, a bedroom community of Tampa. It lies on the Southeastern shore of Tampa Bay. Because it has a protected harbor, it is an ideal port for both commercial an cruise ships. Ruskin is best known for it’s tomatoes. Each year they celebrate with a a two day festival, the Ruskin Tomato and Heritage Festival. Thousands of people join in to eat fried green tomatoes, swamp cabbage, smoked mullet and barbecue. The Annual Ruskin Seafood Festival has something for everyone. Here along the beaches of Tampa Bay, you can sample great seafood while listening to live entertainment and browsing through the fine arts and craft displays.
Neptune Village offers many activities where you get to mingle and know you neighbors. Join the craft and sewing club that makes beautiful quilts. Bingo is twice weekly and play your lucky hand on card nights. The clubhouse sponsors many activities including dances and potluck dinners.
