Indianwood Golf and Country Club is located in Indiantown, 15 miles west of Stuart and 8 miles north of Palm Beach County.  It is in the heart of Florida’s cattle and citrus country.  Here you can watch the sunset over Lake Okeechobee, the largest lake in the southeastern United States.  The Lake provides a natural habitat for fish, wading birds and other wildlife and attracts boating enthusiasts from around the world.  It is also a key component of South Florida’s water supply and flood control systems.  Indiantown is home to the Payson Park Thoroughbred Training Center, which is “rated among the top three in the county and is cited as the most consistent of ALL race tracks measured”.
