Year in Review: The Hottest Manufactured Home Floor Plans of 2021

Posted: January 27, 2022 by Jacobsen Homes

Your manufactured home’s floor plan is one of the key pieces of its design – and arguably the most important part. Your home’s layout will impact how you use your home and your daily life. It colors how family members spend time together or apart, how you furnish and decorate your home, and your ability to host guests. Choosing the perfect manufactured home floor plan gives you the chance to make your home your own.

At Jacobsen Homes, we offer a wide range of manufactured home floor plans, from small but comfortable two- and three-bedroom options to luxury triple-wide manufactured homes that have more than 2,000 square feet of living space. Let’s look at some of the hottest floor plans this past year to help you discover the perfect one for you and your family.

Popular Small Manufactured Home Floor Plans

Many people buy manufactured homes as their first home, to have another property, or to downsize from a house that costs too much to maintain. Either way, if you need only enough space for one to two people to enjoy, a small manufactured home doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice comfort or style.

With 1,280 square feet, the IMLT-3487B gives you three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom features a large walk-in closet and en suite bathroom. Eat and entertain in the open kitchen, living, and dining area, or have a more casual meal on your (optional) porch. This manufactured home provides everything a couple or small family needs.

Popular Large Manufactured Home Floor Plans

Large manufactured home floor plans provide even more options and flexibility. It’s important to note that modular or manufactured homes are typically more affordable than traditional homes. This means that you may be able to get more rooms and square footage for your money compared to a stick-built house. So don’t limit yourself when comparing manufactured home floor plans.

Two-Bedroom Floor Plans

One of our most popular floor plans is the TNR-5602B. Although it has only two bedrooms and two bathrooms, this home boasts 1,600 square feet of living space. In addition to the bedrooms, you also get a den and a bonus room, to create a home office, a hobby space, or a quiet spot to kick back and relax. The master suite feels luxurious and is complete with a walk-in closet and bathroom with a dual sink. The kitchen features a welcoming island and is connected to the dining and living areas for the ultimate hosting experience. Add other touches like a sliding glass door off the spacious dining room or a tile backsplash in its generously sized kitchen.

Three-Bedroom Floor Plans

If you’re looking for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom manufactured home, our most popular models include the IMP-45213B, Imperial Model IMP-6531B, Imperial Model IMP-46022B, and Imperial Model IMP-44819W. These homes range in size from 1,387 to 1600 square feet. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms in these models are the same and all of them feature an open floor plan in the kitchen, dining, and living areas. However, their floor plan layouts differ, which is where choosing the one that works best for you and your family is made easy. For example, if you prefer to have a separate gathering area the IMP-46022B Model has a family room, making it a great option for your ultimate game or movie room.

Four Bedroom Floor Plans

The Imperial Limited Model IMLT-45617B is a 1,493 square foot home that features four bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open kitchen and dining room combination. It’s complete with a bonus room if you need a little extra space, which you can use for storage or hobbies. The master suite has a spacious bathroom and walk-in closet. This home is a great option for growing families or if you’re a small family that values extra space.

Our Best-Selling Luxury Manufactured Home Floor Plan

If you want an even bigger home, consider our best-selling triple-wide manufactured home: Model TNR-7643-M1459. This home has a whopping 2,497 square feet. The master suite makes up one whole side of the home, and has a deluxe bathroom and walk-in closet at one end, and a separate “retreat” at the other. In addition to its four bedrooms and three bathrooms, you get a huge open kitchen with an island and open dining area, a play room. You can even choose to include an optional porch for a nice outdoor area
